Our mission is to serve the children of our community and the world by fostering community engagement, empowering youth, and addressing the unique needs of our local community. Through volunteerism, collaboration, and leadership, we strive to create a brighter future where every child can thrive.
We believe no child should go hungry. Through our food programs, we aim to provide nutritious meals to children in need. Whether through school meal programs, food pantries, or weekend food bags, we are committed to ensuring that every child has access to healthy food to fuel their potential.
Beyond feeding, we recognize the broader needs of our community’s young people. Our initiatives extend to providing personal hygiene products, promoting clothing drives, and offering assistance with funding for extracurricular activities. We strive to fill the gaps and support youth in achieving their dreams, regardless of their background or circumstances
Kiwanis International supports youth leadership through programs like Key Club, Builders Club, and K-Kids, fostering service, teamwork, and confidence. By providing mentorship, scholarships, and service opportunities, Kiwanis helps young leaders develop the skills and values needed to make a lasting impact.
Kids need adults who care. That’s why people join Kiwanis clubs. They’re local groups of like-minded volunteers who make a difference. Friends. Neighbors. Anyone who loves serving together to change children’s lives. In fact, Kiwanians are part of a global network of clubs and members who partner with each other and with organizations whose missions align with ours. All around the world — and in communities like yours — Kiwanis International is serving the kids who need us most.
Kiwanis clubs and members conduct service projects. They hold fundraisers. They donate to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund. They change children’s lives in their own communities and through international initiatives — helping young people develop mentally, physically and emotionally.
Every year, Kiwanis members stage more than 1.3 million service projects and raise nearly US$390 million for children, families and communities around the world. Kiwanis club projects are based on the community’s needs — we build playgrounds, purchase medical equipment, stuff backpacks with school supplies, restock libraries and much more. The average Kiwanian makes an impact on the lives of 106 children.
